Volunteer

We believe that volunteers are the most important resource we have. Volunteers drive the success of all of our programs. We need tutors, mentors, reading helpers, and BakPak Pals packers! Please help us continue to serve at-risk students in Robeson County by donating your time. You can donate an hour weekly or monthly and make a major impact on the lives of our students.

As volunteers are mostly hands-on with students, volunteers are asked to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and be able to provide a copy of their vaccine card for our files.  All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and able to pass a criminal background check. If you are interested in volunteering in any of our programs, please call us at 910-738-1734 or email us at connie.britt@robesoncis.org.  If you would like to volunteer in a specific school or program, you may contact the specific coordinator directly.

Donate

Everyone has heard the saying “There’s no such thing as a free lunch.” We guarantee our students have a free lunch (or free tutoring, mentoring, after-school programs) through donations and grant funding. Please donate today to allow us to continue to provide these free services to students in Robeson County. Read more about our work and the schools we serve in here

We also hold three fundraisers each year to help cover our costs. More information will be posted in the events section of our homepage.
